This award follows Envision Health’s 2023 Digital Health Award win, where the Lynx Dx website was lauded for its innovative approach to healthcare communication.

Best Short Video Content – GOLD

Lynx Dx’s video series, “Lynx Dx Goes Beyond the Mustache for Movember,” skillfully blends the fun and serious sides of Movember, capturing the spirit of the campaign with creative storytelling. Envision Health Creative Director, Greg Abele, explained the approach behind the video that incorporated a BBQ theme to capture audience attention:

“For the initial Movember video, we filmed staff during their annual summer BBQ. To capture the fun and light-heartedness of the event, I created a simple BBQ logo to set the tone, laid it over a blue-tinted video of one of the employees opening the grill, and framed photos to create a memory-like feel, taking the viewer through an event carousel. All of this was set to a light, fun, uplifting soundtrack to evoke the feel of a summer BBQ.”

The upbeat tone of the video transitions seamlessly into a more somber moment as employees share personal stories about why prostate cancer awareness is so important.

“For the individual interview videos, we wanted to start with a catchy opener to grab the viewer’s attention. The Movember intro logo was designed to be both fun and classical, which led into a fast-paced overview of all the employees holding up fake mustaches. Then, I shifted the mood to a more serious tone as employees told their personal stories. The transition blended the fun and seriousness naturally, reflecting the values and mission of Lynx Dx.”

This perfect balance of lightheartedness and gravity made the video emotionally impactful and engaging for viewers.
